These newly recorded versions of songs from previous J Scott Bergman albums were captured LIVE by former CBGB soundman Robin Danar after a chance meeting in a Venice nightclub. Both talked about the idea of creating an 'in studio live' set that would capture a side of Bergman that had not yet been made available to the public. Often performing live and alone with an acoustic guitar, the artist felt it would be a good idea to have this version of himself made available in addition to the studio albums. In essense, this project was approached like a new album with attention given to creating interesting mixes of the live performances with Robin Danar's signature approach.
