Album Notes

“Bernice MacDonald is incredibly talented. She has a wonderful treasure inside of her that keeps pouring out” Jerry Lansdowne, artist and songwriter for Johnny Cash

Bernice MacDonald feels a strong reason and urge to get out there and ‘do it’.
“Do what I do and hope people can relate to it. I try to put across what I know and what feels natural.”

Born into a family of musicians, Bernice MacDonald began her singing career in a choir. She not long after discovered her passion for composing and writing her own material. Now backed by a tight bundle of charismatic young talents, Bernice brings us a variety of up-beat shiny lyrics, painted over a strong musical folk sound.

Having sang backing vocals with Ozzy and Kelly Osborne on the nationally televised ‘ Olympic Torch Concert’ and a variety of other television and radio performances showcasing her sound, Bernice is now aiming at a different market stating “ most of my influences are American or Canadian and my roots are in The Maritimes so it feels like the most natural step for me to take”.

Promotional copies of her debut album ‘Garden’, which is released late November, already have Miss MacDonald tipped as “the one to watch”.
