notes
O.E.B.'s first album, "Electro-Tango Vol. I" explores the fusion of traditional Argentine Tango with elements of electronic music. The first half of the CD is based in the genre of electronica, with tango samples added to preserve the "tango-feeling". The second half of the CD uses traditional tangos as a base, and then sprinkles elements of electronic music to enhance/update the sound of traditional classics.

Hot, hot, hot! This CD is downright funky and totally danceable. Worth every penny, and a perfect companion, especially for cold Minnesota winter driving... only problem about listening to it in my car, I can't dance and drive.
Very funky and smooth
author: -Amy Lusky-My mom introduced me to this CD and I am amazed at how hip and smooth it feels in your ears. It is edgy, ethnic with a "deep in your shoes" beat. Great sound, great mix, FUNKY*SMOOTH*COOL... and I can really see dancers when I close my eyes. A GREAT CD and full to the brim with sweet tracks.
Amazing tango electronica fusion! A natural follow-on to Gotan Project
author: =Rich Rodriguez=This disk is totally in the grove, danceable, and simply outrageous electronica tango… comparable to the experience I had the first time I heard Gotan Project. I never get tired of listening to the textures, and embedded funk The tracks Berrentines, Lunes, 6 AM, and The Elizabeth represent the ultimate of danceable tango electronic fusion. And where did that violin come from? It represents the epitome of “Tango Angst!” Rockin’ grovin’ electonica tango? You bet! Taste it! Yummy for the body mind and soul. But don’t take my word for it. Hear for yourself.
