Bertha (Underwood) Morgan is one of LGR RECORDS newest artists!

Her anointed singing will move straight to your soul and touch your spirit!
With songs like, "Plenty Good Room", "Walk With Me Lord", and "Gonna Lay Down My Burden", Bertha brings these deeply rooted Negro Spirituals to life in that Old Gospel Sound! With her first project release entitled "Sings Negro Spirituals".

Along with the anointed gospel that she pours her heart and soul into, Bertha has been singing these great Negro Spirituals and providing an education on the origins of this music for many years in schools, and through various events throughout the country during the Celebration of Black History Month, as well as throughout the year.

Bertha is a born again, Spirit filled Christian, with a rich, robust, solid gospel voice.
Bertha has been singing the praises of God for many years and has generated a huge following.

Bertha is a member and lead singer of the South Jersey Mass Choir, with two leads on their current release "Always Faithful" and one lead on their latest release “Christmas With South Jersey Mass Choir”. With her own Live Recording and debut Gospel CD entitled "For the Rest of My Days", Bertha is on the move for the Lord!

Bertha (Underwood) Morgan is originally from Kinston, NC. She is a 1960 Graduate of Adkin High School. She was a featured soloist at the 2004 Adkin High School Alumni Class Reunion.
