This wonderful recording presents the reigning maestro of the nylon string jazz guitar in a string ensemble setting, with Gene's brilliant guitar improvisations and arrangements supported by lush orchestrations.  Wow.  The music is intimate and soulful, everything we've come to expect from this grand master.
