Beth Hirsch - Indelibly You (Got-Ta-Scatta Rework)

Throughout the last decade the signature voice of Beth Hirsch has both inspired and graced many music landscapes. Beginning with her appearance on Air's 1998 'Moon Safari' album, the American singer-songwriter has since collaborated with some of music's finest beats and grooves merchants including D*Note, Black Dog, Custom Blue, Jakatta, amongst others.

As well as featuring on some significant film soundtracks - as the singer/co-writer with Senegalese artist, Wasis Diop and their duet “Everything (Is Never Quite Enough)” in 'The Thomas Crown Affair' and with Pale 3 and their single, 'Arrival' for one of the 2005 Academy Award winning film 'Crash' soundtracks, Hirsch has been described as vocally inhabiting the territory that loosely encompasses the likes of Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Beth Orton and Suzanne Vega. She has also released three solo albums, each marking a consistently growing assuredness. It's from her most recent cd, 'Wholehearted,' where the superb UK duo, Got-Ta-Scatta has taken 'Indelibly You' on a fabulous beats and folktronica journey.
