ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bethleham & Eggs is Joe West, Margaret Burke and Lydia Clark. Formed in 2004 by Joe West, this group is coming into its own rapidly. Playing to a standing room only crowd at the Cowgirl Restaurant in Santa Fe, NM for the last 2 years for the “Gospel Sunday Brunch” their following continues to grow. All three individuals come from varied musical backgrounds and add their own brand of musicality and vocals to this much-loved group. The crowd sings along with the traditional songs and learns the new tunes rapidly and even books the same seats for the next Sunday, some even booking for the entire month to make sure they have a place to not only listen, but get up and dance in the aisles as well. Every Sunday is unique '" guest musicians abound '" percussionists, sax, harmonica, trumpet, violin and even cello. The guest musicians on this cd make it a wonder to behold and a joy to listen to on any given day '" not just Sunday. Often sounding very country '" old time gospel, but then with a funky, even low down bluesy quality. Make sure to put this one of a kind group on your CD list.
