Album Notes

I grew up in several little towns in Oregon. Recorded my first demo when I was barely 14, started performing with bands that same year, met my amazing Husband when I was 15 (he played guitar on my 1st CD & was the 1999 National Flatpicking Champion), I sang in front of over 20,000 people by the time I was 16, made an album in Nashville when I was 17, opened for major acts before I was 18, and was performing 6 nights a week when my 19th Birthday rolled around. I won over a dozen \"Indie Artist\" awards during my teen years, but when it was time for my 20\'s, this thing called \"real life\" took over. I moved out on my own for the first time, started working a day job, married my sweetheart, bought a house, and found that music still owns me...

So we packed up our little cars (Tucker & Chloe) and headed East to Austin, Texas - the \"Live Music Capital of the World\". We had our condo-buying experience chronicled on an episode of HGTV\'s House Hunters and quickly settled into our lovely new life. We now own an Ad Agency in Downtown Austin and have been so blessed to find friends that love life as much as we do!

Songwriting is currently my biggest thrill. My ambition is to write for other artists and for special projects. I just released my new album \"Minutes With You\" in 2008, and one of the most personal songs we\'ve recorded pretty much sums up my emotional state...I Am From Hopeful.

It is rare to hear music these days that is written in such a way so as to take you to a \"place\". This album engages the listner to go with Beth into her love for life, husband, and people. Truly inspiring, Minutes With You will have you singing along by the second time through, and will tell you stories that inspire hope for humanity. Beth Miner\'s Minutes With You is a refreshing taste of what music and songwriting should be...A must have!!!

I listen to this in the bathtub..

...and I am really picky about my bathtub music. :) The only thing I don\'t like about this album is that it\'s too short. Beth\'s silky voice and beautifully composed lyrics are raw but refined, subtle but eloquent. I can listen to Wild Blue on a loop all day and still find something new in it. Apparently somewhere \"between bluegrass and pop\" firmly rests good music. I love this album--a steal.

A song that transcends an ocean, a word that embodies a language... and a note that facilitates perfection. Bravo.
