Album Notes

Beth Phillips has been passionate about singing for most of her life. She has appeared in a number of school and community musical productions. Most notably, Beth was involved for 3 years in a variety of production venues for Evangeline the Musical, an original work composed and produced by local artists and ultimately televised on PBS stations nationwide. She played the role of child Evangeline in the first full staged production of the musical and in a concert version performed at Oak Alley Plantation. In recent years she has enjoyed composing some of her own lyrics.

Beth Phillips is well beyond her years when it comes to her passion, desire, and commitment for music! Growing up in Independence, Louisiana (literally down the road and in the backyard of Pop Superstar Britney Spears), Ms. Phillips knew that a singing career was definitely in her immediate future! Her ability to handle the workload and demands of a professional recording career, while still maintaining her commitments to her educational goals, is truly remarkable and outstanding!
