Born in Detroit, Michigan, Elizabeth Stalker started performing when she was only three years old. Known as "Little Liz", Beth released her first album entitled "Jesus Loves Me", getting air time on radio stations across the country. As a five year old she even performed at the Gospel Country USA music festival at Opryland sharing the stage with legends like Porter Wagoner and Roy Acuff.

In 2005, Beth exploded onto the Detroit Music scene winning 6 Detroit Music Awards for her independetntly produced contemporary Christian CD "Here With You" - including the Best Limited Budget Music Video and "The People's Choice" awards. One of the songs from the critically acclaimed project also went on
to win the Grand Prize for Peavey's 40th anniversary song writing contest.

A life-long fan of Jazz, Beth recorded a CD of Jazz standard called "Hallelujah, I Love Him So" in 2006.

Beth is currently un-signed but working on her latest album scheduled to be released in 2008.

    Beth Stalkers performance here is exceptional. The bonus acoustic tracks really zero in on her wonderful voice. I am also very impressed with the studio recording and quality of the product as a whole. This CD makes for a great reference demo for high end equiptment.

    I can't help it. I love the songs and the album as a whole piece. There are so many aspects in the recordings that absolutely make the songs. The message, the feel, the soul of the music... Beth's voice helps achieve spiritual innocence. All in all, just a great listen.

    Both lyrics and music are great. The songs are very honoust and I realy love the variaty of instruments that are used. Beth's voice is perfect and is not overwhelmed by the music, which is great because that's very hard to do with such fullness of sound.

    When I first heard this at Cornerstone 2004 while sitting across from Beth and her husband at their booth, I closed my eyes and could do nothing but think about how much God had influenced her while writing and producing these songs. It was a very pleasant experience listening to and enjoying the clarity of the recording as well as the message.

    I met Beth a Cornerstone 2004 and while she was playing just her and the guitar and I was amazed! She has a beautiful voice and her cd is just like I heard live very cool! Her heart for God is very present on her cd so I recommend this for any christian to have in there collection!

    Upon listening to the first 5 songs, I summed up how I would describe Beth Stalkers debut album. I thought to myself,"Pleasantly waking up to the sun peering from behind the shades, then you open them, and the rays fill you with warmth". But low and behold...on the 8th track, Beth said my very thoughts on 'I Can't Imagine'. The lyrics state,"Early in the morning the sun slips through the shades." Don't drink coffee in the morning folks...listen to Beth Stalker. It's truly awakening.

    Two weeks ago, when I arrived at Ann Arbor's Top of the Park Summer Festival, Julie Austin's and Jill Jack's bands where changing places on the stage while background music played through the speakers. Then an etheral voice caught my attention, and after listening for a few seconds to "Hold Me", I hurried up to the control both, where two other people where already asking the sound techs whose CD was playing. I borrowed a pen and wrote Beth Stalker's web site on my hand, and then four more people came up to inquire about the "background music". I'm not surprised. Since I'm a research engineer instead of a music critic, I can't convey *why* Beth's music is so beautiful. But I do know that the simple lyrics of redemption and the haunting melody of "Hold Me" took my breath away. (Thanks, Beth. You made my day that day (and many since then). P.S. My teenage kids like you too!)

    Beth's debut cd is a refreshing escape from the standards in the music industry today. a beautiful voice, heartfelt emotional lyrics and phenominal musicians make it one of the first new albums i've heard in a while that isn't about the image, but about the music and the message. i already await her next recording projects.
