Album Notes

better than aliens is a hard working and honest trio of musicians. They were formed in March of 2007 when Marty, the lead vocalist and songwriter, placed an add on craigslist looking for a drummer. Justin was the first person to respond who didn\'t flake out on Marty. Amazingly enough Justin was the first drummer Marty played with after moving across the country from Boston just a few months prior.

Marty got on his 1977 Honda CB550 in Boston Mass, and headed for San Francisco via Fairbanks Alaska! After the 8 week journey, he settled in SF; with the intention of starting a band. Better than aliens picked up Danny the bass player, also found via craigslist, late in October of 2007. They began their first performance live on the radio during the first week of November. One hour of playing after having Danny join the band just a few weeks prior!

Since then the band has been playing consistently in the bay area and now they\'re heading to LA in early June; to release their debut EP! Five sweet songs lasting a total of 18 minutes; a powerful Indie Pop beginning....
