Album Notes

Betty & The Id – What Do People Do All Day? (Wrong Syde Records)

This is the second album from Betty & The Id, the follow up to The Wrong Side Of Everything (2008)

The album was released for download via CD Baby, itunes and amazon on the 01/01/12. A CD version is expected on Wrong Syde Records in May 2012.

The album was recorded at Highbury Studios, Kings Heath direct to analogue tape by Rob Peters.

This album expands on the garage punk, first take best take, template of the first album. The sound now incorporates synths, brass, backing vocals, sound effects and tape effects around a loose “day in the life of” concept.
Where the first album was recorded one day and mixed the next this second album was recorded throughout nine months of 2011. This allowed the sound to expand and progress while still retaining the bands trademark live aggression.
