BEYOND EDEN is at the forefront of a revolution of music for the soul. The group plays a unique fusion of hip-hop, rock, reggae, and disco with traditional Jewish content. Their goal is to communicate a message of hope and spirituality through the medium of cutting-edge, genre-blending music. Their shows are high-energy and intense, with a pulsating groove, designed to keep audiences on their feet and dancing.

BEYOND EDEN represents diversity, with each member coming from a different background, both musically and spiritually. "On The D" showcases the dynamic musical talent of the band, and features songs in both English and Hebrew, in a variety of genres. The album title represents finding one's path in life, and much of the album content reflects the band's search to discover their own unique identity, both in terms of their music and in their relationship with Judaism and life itself.

The band was founded in 2002 and consists of Chayim Newman (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Jono Landon (Drums), David Austin (Keys, Vocals), Marc "Shaps" Shapiro (Bass, Beatbox), Avi Zemer (Lead Guitar, Percussion, Vocals) and Marky Chai (Mandolin, Flute, Vocals).

In their time together, BEYOND EDEN has played over 40 concerts, including a 16-show, Naot-sponsored summer camp tour, and shows for various Jewish organizations such as Hillel, UJA, Chabad and NCSY. They've performed at famous clubs such as: The Reverb, Lee's Palace and the Hard Rock Café at Skydome in Toronto; prestigious venues such as: The Toronto Centre for Performing Arts, Vancouver's Norman Rothstein Theatre; as well as several outdoor shows, including NYC's annual Salute to Israel Parade with an attendance of over 200,000 people. Members of the band have shared the stage with diverse musicians such as Reva L'sheva (Israel), Moshav Band (Israel), David Broza (Israel), John Sebastian (of the Lovin' Spoonful), Derek Carter (Chicago), Mark Farina (San Francisco) & DJ Sneak (Chicago).
