This has a 'Hooverphonic' feel, with a faster beat. I'm throughly enjoying it.

This is the kind of album that is so hard to come by in the world of indie elect

Blind faith and Envy (the female fronted electro act from the U.S.) is back with a new album called "MURDER OF A GIRL." This is the second release from rising stars Charlene April and Daniel Guenther. MURDER OF A GIRL can only be described as brilliant! This is the kind of album that is so hard to come by in the world of indie electro-pop. All 11 tracks are so commercially appealing and so thoroughly entertaining that I would not be surprised to see this band become so much more than the typical blip on your radar screen. The first track (and my personal favorite) "THE SMALLEST REWARDS" has a driving catchy beat with emotional tension in both the lyrics and in Charlene's vocals, and is a bit on the heavier side. What is so wonderful is how diverse this album is, creatively and stylistically. There's heavier tracks like "SECRET AFFAIR" and "DIRTY TOWN" woven between slow melancholy tracks like "MURDER OF A GIRL" and "Ashamed." Definitely my new favorite album, I have been playing it constantly and find it more and more terrific each time!
