Album Notes

The theme of the moon on this album is meant to symbolize the different places I have called home, either in England or America, and the inspiration given to me by nature, whether sitting in my garden or driving through the desert in California and Nevada. The album features four instrumentals, the title track, which was inspired by a drive to Las Vegas, Pipes of Putney, which is in an unusual time signature, Fairy Song, inspired by the lush West Country in England, and City Light, which is an acoustic instrumental played in open tuning.

All the songs are original apart from I Live Not Where I Love, which was written by William Shakespeare and has a traditional tune. Summer Song was inspired by the beautiful sunlight of Southern California, Picture Frame is a rock-ballad/love song, Don't Want is a socially minded rock song, and Clifton In My Mind is about my memories of Bristol, England, where I went to college.
