Album Notes

Souvenirs, Novelties, and Party Tricks is the third full length album from The b Foundation and their experience and maturity shines through on this record. There is such a wide variety of music that is very hard to classify what style or genre of music The b Foundation performs. Drawing influences from blues, reggae, hip hop, punk, ska, motown, metal, and straight forward driving rock. The band simply calls their style "kickass". The b Foundation has assembled its finest album to date. The overall tone is rooted in reggae and blues, but flashes of so many other influences are prevalent throughout the entire album. The band enlisted Josh Fischel, former lead singer/songwriter of the band Bargain Music, to be a co-producer and his help was amazing. The song "Go Away" also features Josh's talent as a singer, along with Mic Dangerously of Zen Robbi and Dirty J of the Dirty Heads. Bottom line is a lot of fun and hard work went into making this album and it showcases the talent of The b Foundation. The b plays a wide variety of styles because they are influenced by everything. "Souvenirs" is definitely going to be one of the hottest albums of the summer and into 2010. It has been highly anticipated and does not let down. Pick up your copy while its fresh!
