Bill Fadden and The Silvertone Fliers play vintage style rockabilly with energy, talent and enthusiasm for the 1950s sound and style. Their performances sound as fresh as Rockabilly Music would have done in the mid-50s.
"Bop Party" is their stunning debut album, which has roughly half/half split of self-penned songs and covers from the original Rockabilly era.
Fadden's fiery vocals and lively rhythm guitar lead the way, with scorching licks from the lead guitar of Buddy Coles. Solid rockin' rhythms are provided by Jack Boxwell's upright bass and female rockabilly drummer Katie-Jane.
Taking influence from the great original Rockabilly artists who recorded for the King, Starday and Sun record labels and compared by some to Wildfire Willie and The Raging Teens, Bill Fadden & The Silvertone Fliers formed in 1999 and played their first gig a month later. They soon began to establish themselves among Rockabilly fans across the country, building up a strong following appreciative of their their wild stage performances and authentic Rockabilly sound.
