This album took four years to make. The original concept was live guitar and vocals, and some of that remains, but many songs developed from there. Steve Wood had his brilliant way with some of the cuts, then Nate Wood added his rhythm work. Richard Stekol put banjo and Mandolin on a couple of tracks, giving it a "Honk" flavor, and The Girls (Sue Bredice and Carolyn Miller) sang backgrounds on three cuts.
