Album Notes

Bianca De Leon has been labeled the queen of the border ballad. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she imbues the flavors of spanish and english in her songs and sends them down a dark deserted west Texas highway that will end in your heart. This album was recorded live and unedited in a Helsinki, Finland radio station during her 2002 tour of europe. This stripped down version brings Bianca's songs into stark relief, exposing the bones and sinew, and her compelling storytelling commands the fore-ground.
