Album Notes

Joel Bidderman is a mountain boy from northern Arizona. There he works cross-culturally with Native Americans on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. Joel's down-to-earth honesty and unique outlook on life infuses his music to offer a one of a kind sound. The music is influenced by his Salt-of-the-Earth faith, passion for those he serves, and his love of nature. All three are delicately woven together to offer something to challenge and encourage the listener to live life to its' fullest.

"Depravity, Grace and Reckless Abandon" is a project displaying Joel's transparency. In this work he delivers declarations of faith through "Romans 14:7&8," "At the Foot of the Cross," and "Reckless Love." His honesty gives this project a fresh sound heard in "Homesick" and "Waiting." Joel also dedicates this project to the awareness of Christians all around the globe that are persecuted and killed for their belief in Jesus Christ. Reaching a refreshing lyrical depth that is complimented by an inspired melody, "Depravity, Grace and Reckless Abandon" is an album to contemplate and enjoy.

Joel Bidderman’s latest release, Depravity, Grace and Reckless Abandon, is a heartfelt compilation of sincere music to God. Joel has the amazing ability to convey a Godly message in a very down to earth manner. Catchy rhythms, excellent guitar playing and prayerful lyrics are found throughout this release. I count this as Joel’s best work to date.

"Depravity, Grace and Reckless Abandon" speaks the heart of the Gospel.   From the freedom of forgiveness of sin, to the fellowship of sufferings, this CD presents lyric truth and hope.  Joel Bidderman's musical talent shines as he sings his heart to God.   Anyone listening to this CD will be drawn into the worship and their hearts will be lifted up in adoration of Christ.  As I think of this CD and Joel's witness to the Gospel I am reminded of Philippians 3:10, "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings..." I believe Joel's music will give the listener greater insight into those words.
