**** 2005 Indian Summer Music Award nominee for best Flute recording. ****
Osiyo, My name is Daniel Bigay. I am a flute maker, Artist, Performer/Recording Artist, and demonstrator. I am an enrolled member of the Echota Cherokee tribe. I also have tribal ancestry that can be traced to the Choctaw, and Taino tribes. I have been making traditional Native American art for over 25 years, and have been making Native American Flutes full time for the last 8 years. My flutes have won awards at many Native Art shows and powwows, including the Rankokus American Indian Art show in Rancocus, NJ, the Spirit of America Native American Art show in Atlanta, GA., and the Santa Monica American Indian Art show in Santa Monica, CA. I have also made replicas of ancient flutes for museums. Our flutes are played by many nationally known Native American recording artists, including Bill Miller, Tommy Wildcat, Jeff Ball, Ed Three Eagles, Lowery Begay, Adrian Wall and others.
As a performer I have two CD's that have been nationally released, and I have appeared as a performer or Demonstrator at numerous Native art shows, Pow Wows, and schools. We have been featured in newspapers, and on TV.
My wife, Kay and I live in the Smoky Mountain area in Eastern Tennessee, where we are full time artists. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

A creative, fresh & traditional release of Native American Flute music!
author: Mac LopezWhat I found most unique about this recording was that it's one of the very few that doesn't incorporate reverb or digital delay to enhance the flute songs. The music is fresh and original, the song Amazing Grace is done like no other version I've heard before, if you're looking for traditional flute music that catches your ear, I would highly recommend this FOR SURE!
