Album Notes

Formed in 1987 by Simon & Shark, Big Bam Boo got their record deal by storming into record company offices armed with their acoustic guitars, a beat box and great vocal harmonies.

Signed to MCA, the first album - produced by Richard Mainwaring - was released in early 1989 - though a single Fell Off A Mountain had been released late '88. The single "Shooting From My Heart" reaching number 17 in the US AOR chart. BBB appeared on UK and European TV throughout much of 89, and won critical aclaim from the Music Press. UK singles made the low 40's. Due to "management & label scheduling difficulties" the second album was not started until 1991, by which time relationships with the label had soured somewhat. Upon completion of the album the band were dropped by MCA.This untitled and un-released second album was recorded at Electric Lady in New York City, and mixed at Soundtracks NYC. Featuring John Regan on Bass & Tony Beard on drums. Previously un-released this album is finally now available!
