Album Notes

Big Boot Dance are a 5 piece schizophrenic duo with tendencies towards exaggeration and confectionary.

Formed as a result of a meeting between vocalist Dickie Tumm and guitarist Ginger Nuttz after being introduced by compere Larry 'Lipless' La Rou at the 1994 Edinburgh fast whistling festival.

As a result of some disappointing gigs at the Pig Jackers bi-annual dinner dance, the narcoleptics convention and the agoraphobics open air festival the duo parted company with their manager Bertie 'Big Bollocks' Masson and forged a partnership with impresario Archie Fatcacky.

Following a recommendation from music journalist and committed omnivore Spotty Bott, Archie drafted in bassist Gary Baldy and welsh drummer Dai Jestive to form a world class solid biscuit foundation to the band, to compliment the caramalic qualities of Tumm and Nuttz.

Adding a chocolate like coating in the form of rhythm guitarist Rich Tee, the former world deep sea darts champion and squid wrestler, Archie completed the band line up.

After some frankly disappointing recordings with world famous engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel a breakthrough was eventually made when the band teamed up with lesser known engineer Scratchy Potts after an introduction by producer Anthony Deaf, known to his friends as Tone. Scratchy provided the nutty topping and the glossy wrapper to complete the confectionary creation. The rest is legendary....

Ladies and Gentlemen, for you delectation, edification and listening pleasure this is Big Boot Dance.

THERE ARE ONLY 2 COPIES OF THIS CD LEFT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. ONCE THEY'RE GONE THIS CD WILL BE PUT TO A WELL EARNED REST. GET 'EM WHILE THEY'RE HOT.

CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS CD!!!

One of the most enjoyable consistant electronic rock albums I've heard. The only bad thing I could ever say about it is that it's only 6 tracks...The band obviously has a lot of skill, and well enough production to show it. This CD is a must have for those who love anything from pop to electronic to rock to even reggae!
