ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The Blues... it has it all. Guts, power, guitar, soul, humor, despair. This collection of original music has all of those elements and it touches on several different styles of the Blues."

"That's what Big Daddy D and the Dynamites represents... everything that moves ya'. Genuine House Rockin' music. To make things more interesting we've added a new dimension to our music with Anton and his honkin' saxophone."

"There are grooves in pockets so deep you better wear your life vest so you don't drown. You can hear Albert Collins, Ronnie Earl, Anson Funderburgh , and Lil Junior's influence on Big Daddy's guitar and a honkin sax brings home the funk and soul."

"All these original recordings were done in the studio as "live" as can be. They hold true to what the "Blues" are all about. No musical overdubs and no fancy studio tricks were added. Just raw, high energy music."

"They've created music that encourages a maximum energy level and the most spontaneous musical moments possible. What you hear in these recording are the different styles and dynamics of music experienced during a live encounter with Big Daddy D and the Dynamites."

Blues to the Bone!
I've seen this band live and their energy holds you captive while their music takes you to Bluesville. This is a great CD to add to your Blues collection.
