Most commonly, a record label is the company that manages such brands and trademarks, coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing and promotion, and enforcement of copyright protection of sound recordings and music videos; conducts talent scouting and development of new artists ("artists and repertoire" or A&R); and maintains contracts with recording artists and their managers. The term "record label" derives from the circular label in the center of a vinyl record which prominently displays the manufacturer's name, along with other information.
W.A.S.T.E Entertainment is an Executive Productions Entertainment Company located in the DC metro area. Though we are looking to expand with more facilities locations, we have at our disposal a recording studio located in Washington DC and have over $20,000 in recording equipment. Our personnel and greatest resource are all professional producers/musicians/engineers that have been creating music in the market for the many years. Overall Operations
Executive officers and partners will oversee daily operations including scheduling, sales, personnel management, and planning. Each officer is trained and has experience in Management, Sales, and Music. They are considered the Executive Board. The Executive Board has responsibility for business welfare, and production efforts are mandatory. Ownership in W.A.S.T.E Entertainment with voting powers and annual bonuses are the major incentives.
