A new breed of rapper has emerged from the "dirty dirty" with the skill to do it all. A rapper, producer, engineer, and perhaps the fist teenager of his kind. Justin Scott a.k.a Big Krit, was born on August 26, 1986 in Meridian, Mississippi. A product of divorced parents, Big Krit was raised by his widowed grandmother. At an early age, Big Krit discovered music was calling. At the age of twelve, he began playing the cello and tuba, and studied groups like the Dramatics, New Birth, The Ohio Players, and The Manhattans. At the age of fourteen, he began producing and arranging music for local artists. Unlike the average producer, the kid had flow! Quickly realizing that rapping gained more respect in the hood; BK began to produce and write his own music. ". On the production side Big Krit is inspired by Dre,Timbaland, Kanye West, Just Blaze, Neptunes, Lil Jon, and Jazzy Pha. Big Krit also prides himself on lyrical content, which is apparent in the songs "A Rapper with a Dream" and "My Life Ain't Rosey. When asked what rappers inspired the young artist he calmly states 2pac, Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, UGK, 8ball and MJG, Three Six Mafia, and T.I..
Although Big Krit has yet to drop a major album, he has disturbed the underground scene in major southern cities with his mix tape "See Me on Top". Big Krit can also be heard on DJ FOLK mixtape From the Trap To The Stroll, and is listed as the next to blow, with his hit underground single 'They Gone Hate'. See Me On Top
