Album Notes

CD Description (English):
Yuuugh! After several years of releases which not involved all original members of Tha RPS Fam, the Fam finally decided that its about damn time to drop another solid Mix CD proofing their outstanding position in the Mixtape game, once again. Besides that they also hooked up with one of the most successful Labels in the South, Big Oomp Records.

The CD named "Tha RPS Fam pres. Big Oomp Camp" is an energy loaded journey through the best Sounds the Dirty has to offer on over 37 Tracks!

On "Tha RPS Fam pres. Big Oomp Camp" the RPS DJ´s DJ Hotsauce, Mr. E of RPS and Pokey Size (which already released Mix CD´s with well known Artists like David Banner, Dip Set and Paul Wall to name just a few) are mixing classics, new and exclusive Tracks of Oomp Camp Artists like Unk, Baby D, Loko, Sammy Sam and Backbone. Also super producer DJ Montay added some exclusive Beats to round up the CD.

Like every RPS production "Tha RPS Fam pres. Big Oomp Camp" is not one of these usual Mix CD´s, Tracks, Exlusives, Shoutouts and Freestyles have been mixed together clever and on a high level. Also several Blends are giving even well known Classics a whole new sound and the Exclusives are just incredible and nowhere else available.

Bio:
Life your Dreams describes the development of the young, gifted artists of the RPS FAM, which have prescribed themselves to HIP HOP for over 9 years now.

Already during younger years they dealt for hours with scratchin and mixin of Street Bangers which mainly came from the USA, to improve their meanwhile jutting out technologies. Already in 1999, three long-standing friends Mr. E, Pokey Size and A.Small who shared the love to music, started to realize the initial idea of a national HIP HOP Community under the name RPS with small parties and DJ appearances in the South German space.

Then in the end of 2000 the first bigger gigs in discotheques took place and they got a lot of positive feedback from the audience. By organzing own, regular events, other interesting contacts with DJs and responsible persons of the music branch coulde be made. Therefore the network of the RPS artists extended considerably. After a good friend of the already existing formation RPS came back from a long-standing stay in Malaysia in 2001, the group found its final formation. DJ Hotsauce by hard work the latest member of the new named RPS FAM has specialized himself in "Dirty South" music and has built up narrow contacts with US artists and DJs of this music direction.

In this, yet existing formation, the RPS FAM began to work on the most different mix tapes with exclusive, rare and, above all, in Europe not yet published US tracks. By the single different styles of the DJs and the wide spectrum of music, the RPS FAM could offer a change and quality of Hip Hop Music, which in that form never existed before. Therefore they statuated a perfect example for Hip Hop mix tapes which the quickly rising number of listeners knew to appreciate.

Bit by bit the single members, published different mix tapes with different Rap Star appearences; among other artists like: SAS / DIP SET, David Banner, A-Mafia / Dipset, Baby D, Unk Project GNSS ... and thus improved their technical skills from tape to tape. Besides the RPS Fam collaborated with artists like, Diplomats,Unk, Baby D, LOKO, DJ Montay, DJ Jelly, Stagga Lee, Paul Wall, David Banner, Lokken Load, Lioness, Ike Eyes (Ghetto Rock Starz/Purple City, Icarus (Gillahouse), Kliff 'n' lo, Raptile, Cronite, Lil Deezy, Ill Grill, Bandana Man, Hoss, DJ Polique, 334 Mobb, G-Slymm, Project GNSS, Rasul (Square One), D Little, because da Backwudz, Joe Young, etc...

Over and above that they were nominated for the " Southern entertainment Awards "! The RPS Fam Member DJ Hotsauce also won the Best Ovaseas Mixtape Award at the Justo Mixtape Awards 2006!

Meanwhile, technically perfect and internationally known, the RPS DJ´s are able to let go their feelings when they put together a new mix Tape. So The RPS Fam arouses enthusiasm and surprise the audience with MixCD quality and quantity which european-wide- has never been there before. Like their current masterpiece "Oomp Camp" or the Mix Tape "Destroyin tha club" with more than 65 mixed tracks on a CD, makes clear! With the steady developement of making contacts, the 4 artists have developed themselves to one of the most demaded crews worldwide. The RPS Fam stands for best sound and perfect mix Tapes, which in that form- has never been and of course will never be there again! "Diplomatic Affairs Mix CD", is the first Mix CD which moved more than 80000 copies in Europe (International- plus Europe Edition). This is unique! It was published in "RAP US", Frances biggest Hip Hop Magazine(Europe edition), as well as in Germanys biggest HipHop Clothing Mailorder "77-store.de" (International Edition).

Meanwhile steady structures were formed and the contacts grew: own Clothing Line, Dipl. Audio Engineering, - Mastering, Radioshow`s, designing of Mix CD Covers, Logos, Flyer, DVD´s and Websites, and the featuring of new artists are a steady component of the work beside the mix tape business. In addition, the crew members not only prove themselves in graphic artwork, which A.Small does for own and outstanding productions, but also in producing most different remixes for national and international acts. In addition to it, the RPS Fam produces own radioshows and do guest DJ appearances worldwide. From the initial idea a worldwide Community has formed. All the community members appreciate the exceptional engagement of the involved parties and the technical skills of the RPS FAM.

The official RPS Streetstore "HARLEM", opened in 2005, which enjoys a increasing request, is the first meating point for the South German HipHop scene. After 1 year opened the 2nd RPS Fam Store called "Uptown Harlem". Beside the latest mix CD's and Blend Vinyls (Mr. E`s Keep it gutta, keep it hood sampler),it keeps also exclusive US Hip Hop Clothing and of course the RPS FAM CLOTHING LINE.
