ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Formerly the Anonymous Band from Burlington, NC - The BIG Something is a high-energy, groove-based modern rock band... a combination of Funk, Soul and Rock n Roll with a uniquely alternative and electronic sound. Their debut album, “Stories from the Middle of Nowhere,” was recorded in Raleigh with distinguished NC producer John Custer, who was Grammy nominated for his past work with southern metal legends, Corrosion of Conformity.

The songs on this CD are catchy and charming, layered and soulful with great hooks and colorful storytelling.
While each one takes on its own unique personality, there's an infectious groove and energy throughout the album that holds it all together. Between the searing guitars, mesmerizing saxophones, tasteful keys, vocals and synthesizers, the sound is truly BIG, but no one is quite sure what to call it. Its a BIG Something.
