Big Square Sun is the collaboration of Joe Bob Burris and Marion Quick, singer / songwriters /guitar players who grew up in west Texas listening to everything from the Beatles to Buck Owens to Chuck Berry to Bill Monroe to Buddy Holly. Their ability to write a song that has a musical as well as
a lyrical twist is apparent. This album is a collection of styles and rythmns that the two long time musical partners have gleaned from the past several years of recording and performing.
Their experience in the Texas music scene from years of performing has a unique flavor that gives "Looks like an orange" it's own signature sound.
