Album Notes

Big Wes started playing harmonica at age 8 and the guitar at age 14. He joined his first band "Street Kids" at age 17. Since then he has been in several bands. In 1990, The Big Wes Band recorded an album called "Back In The Alley", comprised of 9 original songs. They performed extensively in the South Bay & Venice areas. Big Wes has performed at countless venues all around the country. In the past year & a half, Big Wes has recorded a solo CD called "Blue Guitar", where he does it all....lead, rhythm, bass, percussion & singing. He has also recorded Piute Mountain Songs 1 & 2. Big Wes is a multi-talented musician with his own original and distinctive sound. In my personal opinion....... simply one of the best blues guitar players on the planet ! Written by Ike

Big Wes rules the world!

What I can't understand is how a guy this good is still unkown to most people! He deserves to be heard, and when you hear him, tell everyone else too! Good Lord, this guy plays a wicked guitar and bass, and the 3 part harmonies he sings with himself are the bomb! All these songs are great--when I first heard it, I said Who is this guy? Why isn't he on every decent radio station in the world? Like a true fan, I went to see him live down in Southern California, and with his band, well, he blew me away, and I'm sitting here just waiting and waiting for his next release. Buy it now, play it today and every day, and tell everyone you know. You'll regret it if you don't.
