Album Notes

Formed initially as a trio of Blues in early 2006, the band created by the need to take to the stage the music you feel and have been playing for years, with the intention that each concert is a real "" hot nite "" of blues.
After publishing the first album "BIG YUYU" (Masterdisc 2007), named one of the essential albums of that year by the press Balearic and remains an enthusiastic reception among gender and year of publishing
past "DO THE SIESTA" (Gaztelupeko Hostak 2010) BLUES disc in capital letters, in collaboration with the exceptional singer Lorenzo Chicago
Thompson, now YUYU BIG BAND & THE HOT NITE presents his third album "BURNIN '' UP '(Masterdisc 2011) the most personal album of the band.
Represents the work of composition of the banda in the last 2 years, in this work are merged from the infectious rhythm of Musca black as Funk, Soul and Boogie with slow and gritty love stories or personal bets ethnic percussion rhythms loaded, always with the Blues as a backdrop in all compositions.
The format leaves no doubt as to sound and staging of the banda, remembering the large formations'' Rhythm n 'Blues from the 50'' s, 60'' s 70'' s with a powerful section metal virtuosity on keyboards and a solid rhythm section with years of experience enveloping the unmistakable voice and guitar Jordi Alvarez one of the biggest surprises of the national blues scene of recent years.
