Album Notes

These tracks, never before released, were recorded in the 1970's when the group was between record deals. They were recorded in Memphis at Lyn-Lou Recording Studio on Chelsea Avenue. The sax player on some of these tracks is Ace Cannon, who started his career playing with Bill Black.

Bill Black, the most famous of the rockabilly upright bass players, made the transition to electric bass after his tenure with Elvis. His heavy bass sound set the tone for this famous rock and roll group.

His group has literally sold millions of albums. You will enjoy hearing the Untouchable sound of Bill Black's Combo.
