Bill has studied indian percussiuon and vocal with Kadar Khan,Pandit Samir Chattergee, Anand Kumar Mallick, South Indian Percussion with T.S. Nandakumar and most recently with Ustad Zakir Hussein. He has studied guitar with Pat Shepard, and Piano with Trudy Silver, Walter Fischbacher, and Herb Wigley.
He has performed with Indofunk. Steve Gorn, Gigi, and Drala. He may be heard on the following CD's Indofunk, Bill Laswell's Sacred System Nagual Site, Sacred System II, and Revelator with Raoul Bjorkenheim & N. Skopelitis, Drala, David Van Tieghem, Jay Clayton and Laurie Anderson. He played on Broadway for the musical Bombay Dreams.
