Bill Christophersen plays old-time, bluegrass and country music on fiddle and electric guitar. He has fiddled with the Fly By Night String Band, Kate & Lou Giampetruzzi, The Lazy Aces, The Fish Family, The Rock-House Gamblers, The Mysterious Redbirds, Orrin Star's Sultans of String and American Flyer. His recording work with Tom Paley, Jim Reams and Ben Freed has been well reviewed by Bluegrass Unlimited and the Old-Time Herald, and he has accompanied John Cohen, John Herald and Gene Yellin in concert. The New York Post has called his fiddling "rich and rugged."
