Album Notes

Bill Creel is a very versatile musician, playing every instrument (electric and rhythm guitar, keyboard, MIDI and bass) on each song that he sings on this CD. His voice is well suited to sing the true traditional country songs found on this recording. Bill has a love for music that goes back to his teen years when he got his first guitar. Over the years he has been lead singer and lead guitar player for several bands. Bill also has a background in electronics and is well versed in computers, which is a great help when operating his own recording studio. He is also a good songwriter, but on this recording all songs came from the pen of Everett Adams.

Bill spent twenty years in the Coast Guard as a radioman and another ten years on Merchant Ships as a radio electronic officer, which gives him a solid background in electronics, a great asset in operating recording equipment.

This recording goes back to country’s traditional roots, where a song tells a story in a simple form, accompanied by music that compliments the lyrics and does not over power them.
