Bill Dougal writes songs with crazy concepts, like cutting spaghetti with a machete. Since he is also a cartoonist, his songs include fun visuals. You’ll find skunks, pillows, backpacks and feet in his compositions. Bill created a cartoon illustration for each song, which appear in poster form at live shows, and in a book. Kids enjoy imagining scary stuff in “Halloween”, and messy stuff in “Ooey Gooey”. Adults will appreciate the clever lyrics and classic music styles. The tunes are memorable. A song about gum (Pop, pop) certainly sticks in your head. More than a dozen musicians and back-up singers help create arrangements that are full and fun. The lyrics are full of good messages and good humor.

Bill Dougal makes his living with his music and art endeavors. Besides this Fun Songs From Bill's Hat Act, he does fish songs, cowboy songs and croon tunes. His novelty rock band in the 80's was Billy & The Buttons. Caricatures and illustrations keep him busy when he's not songwriting or singing. As a certified teacher of art, he spends some good times with kids.
