Album Notes

As a follow up to Bill Hooper's "Active Music for Children" CD, this album contains more fun for pre-school age children. Mr. Hooper’s songs address many of the primary goals of Early Childhood Education, namely, counting and math skills, social and emotional development, respect for others, science and nature awareness, cognitive skills and lots of fun and safe gross motor activities. All songs on this CD are designed to encourage the participation of each child. The illustrations in the CD booklet depicts the actions to be performed by the children, and there are comments to help provide topics for further discussion. All "standing" actions can also be performed in a seated position. This can be helpful for larger groups, or in confined areas. Instruct children to stay in their own space, and to be careful when standing up or sitting down.
