Album Notes

Bill Morris has played guitar just about his whole life. Everything from rock, jazz, folk, blues, ragtime and even classical from solo guitar to big bands. His favorite format has become solo acoustic guitar where he has melded the huge variety of music he embraces in a constantly evolving virtuoso style. He has a powerful, full sound, sometimes playing 3 parts at once! His growing repertoire includes over 100 imaginative arrangements of original and popular songs.

Some quotes from gig reviews:
...I am so impressed with your unexpected and sophisticated arranging
choices and how fluidly you play... it sounds so effortless!

...Bill Morris arranges each song he performs in his own inimitable style, which means total dominance of his guitar, compelling it to execute his tricks and turns, fast and furious, or easy and reflective, full of rhythmic energy and harmonic surprises.

...The golden oldie "Ain't She Sweet?" was irresistibly effervescent, a piece about Spain was striking and almost classical, and his own composition was a delight in harmonic and melodic invention. Relaxed and congenial, he's an original.

...Bill Morris plays lyrical pieces from the Chet Atkins school... His rendition of Classical Gas is a show stopper.
