Another must have!
author: Doug
Once again Bill puts out a "must have" album. From buying all of Bill's past albums, I always think I have a feel for Bill's style of music. Yet with each new album I discover a new side of him I'd never heard before. This album is no exception. With a strong touch of blues in some places, some of Bill's unique "mellow Mumy" style in others, some hard rock here and there, each song is unique and deserving of its own positive adjectives. I can hear a little influence of John Lennon in some places, and George Harrison in others. "Dive" is a haunting song with great impact. "Hear My Memory Scream" is like opening a book from my own past. "A Hundred Good Reasons" takes me back to my college days when we'd go "cruising" around town.
As with all of Bill's past albums I never tire of any of them! This one will be no exception. Every time I listen to a song I hear something new in it. If you don't purchase this album you'll be the one missing out. Trust me, there are more than "A Hundred Good Reasons" to purchase the album!

A HAUNTING RENDITION

Glorious In Defeat
"Sometimes retreat is your best defense."
This CD is a call of the wild....it puts an end to broken dreams and leaves you with a haunting rhythm as only Mumy Music can bring. Straight from the heart of the blues, Bill sings with such enthusiasm that his vocal chords are as strong as his guitar strings. "Hear My Memory Scream" left me in tears and quivering yet "Heartfull" left me jammin' out on the open road without a care in the world....Bill does his voice in so many different arrangements you almost think you are listening to several different artists here there is so much variety. "I Changed My Mind" and "Rely On That" are just brilliant in every way...the lyrics, music and vocals just stunning. I really feel the title "Glorious In Defeat" in every song on the album....though you may be defeated by things that happen in this world, it is never to late for a come back and to be more glorious than ever...So all in all, I "Can't Complain," this CD is good.....real good.......
