Tanda Bailable Vol.1 recoge lo mejor de la musica bailable de los años 40 al 60. Musica alegre movida, y el tradicional Bolero, componen el conjunto de canciones de este nuestro segundo album.

Musica agradable al oido por demás lo que tanbien ofrece espacio para el relajamiento y descanso mientras el pensamiento vuela en pos de los recuerdos.

Musica interpretada con el ritmo inigualable de la Orquesta Billo's Caracas Boys, a nuestro juicio, una de las mejores, si no la mejor, orquesta de esa época. Billo's Caracas Boys fue fundada y dirigida por Luis María Frómeta nacido en Santo Domingo y radicado en Venezuela donde alcanzó la fama de la cual, hoy a pesar de su muerte, disfruta.

Preguntado como desarrolló el famoso sonido de su orquesta contestó que lo logró escuchando y mezclando la musica de la Orquesta de Rafael Muñoz de Puerto Rico y la Orquesta Lecuona Cuban Boys de Cuba.

Luis Maria Frometa Pereyra nació en Santo Domingo el 15 de noviembre de 1915 y murio el 5 de mayo de 1988 en Caracas, Venezuela. Al presente, la orquesta Billos Caracas Boys continua activa bajo la tutela del Sr. Adrian Frometa hijo del Sr. Luis Mar¬a Frometa

Tanda Bailable Vol. 1 is the product of two retired professionals, engineers from Puerto Rico, Miguel Ballester and Luis Quiñones. They, for a moment, put aside their daily routines, to hear, from their music collections, the music as recorded by one of the best, if not the best, latin orchestra of the time, the Billo’s Caracas Boys Orquestra. So impress they were with the sound quality of the recordings and the songs lyrics that they decided to make an album with the best songs on the albums. They could not conceive that such music, music for all times, would remain hidden to the old and new generation. Hours were spent listening to multiple recordings. The songs selection was not an easy task due to the number of beautiful ones in the pack. But finally 18 songs were put together and that was the birth of Ballester & Quiñones label. The album was named Boleros Romanticos.
Based on the sales success of that first album we decided to produce a second album but this time geared for dancing and with all possible different rythms included.. We believe to have accomplished our goal. It is with pride that we present to you Tanda Bailable Vol.1. It is our hope that it meets your expectancy and preferences.
