ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bill Roller is an independent home recording artist who believes that some of the best music is written and recorded without the help of commercial record labels whose sole objective is to make a profit off of an artist's creation. Digital home recording and the internet have completely empowered artist to create and share their music with the world in a friendly “non-business-like" way. Bill has written, performed, recorded, filmed, edited and mastered all of the music, images and videos in all of his music and videos using simple inexpensive cameras, computers and Pro Tools home recording equipment. Bill began his musical career as a seven year old drummer and later picked up the guitar, bass, keyboard, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, low D Irish whistle and tin whistles, and any other instruments he could collect. Because of the funk drummer and Jam band roots, many of his instrumental songs have hard hitting groove that is completely different sounding from the singer song writer style that can be heard in his lyrical compositions. Due to this varied style, Bill's music can be compared from Beck, Moby and the Beastie Boys to Steve Goodman, Paul Wright and Jonathan Edwards, a truly varied artistic style.
