ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This CD contains compositions and improvisations on gongs, bells, singing bowls and other metal percussion instruments. The pieces vary from slow and meditative to more rapid rhythmic constructions. You will hear influences from China, Indonesia, and Tibet as well as ambient motifs that could be classified as New Age, World Fusion or even Avant-Garde. All of the music contained herein was performed live in the studio with no overdubs. These instruments are presented here in their purist form with a minimal amount of effects or studio manipulation.
