Not only do I love this cd I love watching him act. Their just something about him. It's like he's singing not only for himself but about you also.  He understands things. To me his music is saying He's know how hard life can be cause at some point he's  been where your at.

I purchased this album this summer and have listened to it everyday since then.  This album tells a story of love, heart ache, pain, and hope; and I loved every minute of it.  Billy poured his soul into this album and it definitely shows, this CD will be on remain on repeat in my CD player.

I've lived with this album for a few weeks now and I am stunned by it's beauty and honesty. The first 4 tracks alone are worth the price of the CD, but it just keeps getting better. It's raw, poetic and provocative. Anger. Love. Confusion. Heartbreak. I'll never forget "The Low Road" or "Bluesy Larue". I was trying to think of a singer/songwriter to compare Burke with. I told my friend, "if you love Lucinda Williams, you'll love Billy Burke!"

It has been several years since I have purchased a CD.  In fact my oldest daughter is 5 now and I don't believe I have bothered to listen to much new music since she entered our lives.  She is a special needs child & I haven't had much time for the new music that is out there....however, I find your music to speak to me and calm my nerves.  I can't stop listening to it!!  When I am having a rough day, I pop the CD in & listen to your life story.  Amazing, touching, hard, & loving. Thank you!!
