Billy Senesac has consistently created music since the early 1990‘s and he is still at it with his latest effort. This record offers a much more cheerful backdrop to the majority of his musical tapestries and is an indication of growth as a music producer. The intro gives a wonderfully knit together sound of spring, with an encouraging string ensemble. To begin a record with just an instrumental like what Billy put together is a great way to set things off. Billy‘s arrangement has grown, his singing has continued to smoothen out, and his song concepts indicate Billy still has what it takes to make good music.
From songs like Family Portrait to Wish you were here its clear that Billy has a different approach to his past records. However, this musical path he is taking is a very respectable and noble one to take. In a time of uncertainty in our country and morals getting thrown away with the young people, songs like Just Smile are a necessity for parents and young adults to zone off to and be encouraged, because we still have much to smile about. Pick this record up and be lifted up to your happy place. Great job Billy and team.
