We have run out of superlatives to describe Bingo Records Presents: Smart Beats, Volume 1. Bingo Records Presents: Smart Beats, Volume 1 is a gem from the fertile mind of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Josh Nadel. Nadel, father, gifted composer and graduate of Berklee College Of Music, decided to combine a variety of musical elements in creating a unique children’s project. He noted the popularity of rap and hip-hop and wondered why those genres could not be translated in an album for children that was something totally fresh and age appropriate yet not condescending. And so he went out and created just what he envisioned: a gentle, smart, melodic and grooving rap/hip-hop album that also happens to be exceptional children’s educational music.
