Album Notes

Turpentine delivers raw, torrential ballads and smoldering grooves. Old guitars resonate like stormy seas and midnight highways, while vocals are steely soul and sleepy love letters. Columbia recording artist Mike Watt contributes thumping bass backbone to the bent rhythms of drummer Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits) and the swank keyboards of Joseph Simon (Fiona Apple). The title track is the single on the new independent release Turpentine.

Eric has crafted a distinctive style of singing and composition over the last decade in the nightclubs of Los Angeles. Part Motown part Sub Pop, it is a sound at once contemporary and classic. Turpentine follows his '99 debut release 'Left'.
