There really is no substitute for talent
author: Gart Zeebregts, Burpeburg Projects, Amsterdam
This band does not need million dollar light shows, complicated recording equipment, or a smokescreen of silly gadgets, irrelevant gossip press or boyband-like bandmembers. Bi-Phonic is here, right now, and as real as it gets. This band has captured the very core of rock, and for one thing only; they are talented.
No doubt, Dylan Alexander carries the band, like good lead singers often do. His voice is strong, experienced and comfortable the way it is. Dylan has found his niche and works it like no-one else. A delight to listen to. Not just another pretty face, mind you; he is also responsible for a large number of the tracks on this disc. As a musician and critic myself, all I can say is; if you will get only one new CD this year; make sure it's this one.

Who do they sound like: Their sound is fresh and new. Finally a band that sounds like no other. "Love will keep us together" is a fantastic remake that you can't help but dance. "Free to be nice" has clever lyrics and is sure to be a hit. They are optimistic and full of flavor. How many flavors you ask: More than Baskin and Robins will ever have.
