Maybe this doesn't count because Birdie stayed at my house when she played at the Iron Horse in Noho. Still, 'little rolling thunder' introduced me to her work several months back and now I have her official CD and it's wonderful! This is simple, goodtime, thoughtful music and words. A definite upper. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this very talented young lady.

Well, I don't know her as a fellow musician or personally, but I love her music and her style. I have watched her grow as an artist over the last two years, and I think this album is phenomenal. She is the one thing I miss about living in Philly. I hope she can find a way to get to the NYC-area more often....

Ok. Maybe this doesn't really count since I know Birdie as a fellow companion/musician, but this album is really something. The sound, the songs, the lyrics. When I first got it, I really couldn't stop listening to it. Birdie's voice is so mesmerizing, and there are so many great subtleties to the production that really enhance the songs. So what are you WAITING for? All the cool people are listening...
