The first time I heard bird's may bite I was in an absurd situation. I was in the middle of an altercation involving an elderly Mongolian woman, a chimpanzee trainer and a Nike shoe box. It wasn't clear who was winning but the situation was very tense. A kid rode by on a skateboard playing "...If Startled" on a boom box. When we heard those unusual sounds, we all just stopped and looked at each other and said, "what the F#$!?". And then the kid went away... and so did we. To this day I listen to "...If Startled" whenever things just don't quite feel right.

I wish every record was like Scott's record
author: John Seman
You know, I was familiar with the unique glory that is Scott Adams, and I'd even heard a few of the songs on Birds May Bite done solo once, but nothing prepared me for the sweet sweet monkey brain love juice that is this record. Birds May Bite will not stop playing at my house. I come home and it's on, in the middle of the night or in the tub I hear this record. It gives me goodlumps in my throat, I wish every record was like this record. Please buy Scott's record, for all of us.
