A Vision of the Christ
The song from which we derived the title for our concert and album “We Would See Thee Lord first line “We need a vision of the Christ…” is presented as a tribute to its author and founder of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. (COOLJC) the late Bishop R. C. Lawson. The lyrics of this song provide a powerful statement of the then Elder Lawson’s prophetic sense of the need for his times. It further serves, as evidence of his unique prescience, for this song speaks as powerfully to the need of this hour as it did in the day it was written.
